Andrew is three years old. He likes walks, trains, Fruit Loops, dancing and singing, and heavy metal music.
In April, he was diagnosed with cancer.
That same month doctors removed a tumor from behind his eye. Thankfully, they believe they got it all. But cancer cells grow quickly, so Andrew is undergoing a year of chemo. He will eventually be treated with radiation in an effort to prevent his cancer from returning. Ever.
His treatment has caused him a lot of pain. He is in and out of the hospital. He has lost his hair. And even though he has a long way to go, he’s still smiling, still fighting. His mom, Julie; his dad; and his two older brothers are by his side cheering him on.
